ヒースロー空港の近くにあるFoxhills Club & Resortに行ってきました。
FoxhillsはBernard Hunt Course, Longcross Course, Manor Course(9holes)の合計４５ホールある、
リゾート施設です。
宿泊施設やテニス、スパ、ジムもあります。
Top 100 courseのランキングではイングランドTOP100でさえ、ランク外です。
正直なぜかわかりません。
但し、２０１５年のGolf Worldのランキングでは、
何とLongcross Courseがイギリスで98位に入ってきています。
今年の全英シニアオープンの予選会にも使われたそうです。
確かに敷地に入ると、なかなかの名門の雰囲気を醸し出しています。
今回はBernard Hunt Courseをラウンドしました。
料金は90ポンドですが、夏期間は4時以降は40ポンドです。
土日もプレイできるのが魅力的ですが、ヒースローの南西側にあり、
M２５を通る為、いつも渋滞がネックです。

木でセパレートされたコースが多く、程よくアップダウン、ドッグレッグのコースもあり、
王道のインランドのパークランドコースです。ヒースはなかった記憶があります。
実はこの日は仕事を午前で切り上げ、午後に4時からラウンドし、
そのままヒースロー空港に知り合いをピックアップしに行きました（笑）
どうせヒースローまで車で行くなら、ヒースロー近郊の有名コースをラウンドしてやれと思い、
午後に休暇をとり、Foxhillに来たわけです。
ただ、3時間で回る必要があり、ダッシュでまわりました笑。
手入れも良く、空港からも近いので、おすすめのコースです。
次回はLongcrossコースをラウンドしたいと思います。
